Sonali Lal strives to treat minor injuries and chronic conditions such as: orthopedic ailments, spine, back and joint problems, nerve injuries, sports injuries, and arthritis.
She provides compassionate care with a personalized, comprehensive, and holistic approach, alleviating pain with physical therapy, medication, and non-surgical rehabilitation. Using the practice of Physiatry, a medical specialty that focuses on the recovery from musculoskeletal injuries, Dr. Lal restores function, promotes healing, and alleviates her patients' pain.
Natalie Francis
Natalie Francis received her M.S. in Acupuncture from the Swedish Institute (New York City) in 2008, where she focused on the classical style of acupuncture by Dr. Jeffrey Yuen, a Daoist monk and Master of Chinese medicine Qi Gong. Natalie's acupuncture experience includes nine years of private practice combined with three years of hospital work in pain management and post- operative rehabilitation. She mainly works with athletes and people passionate about personal fitness; her strength lies in healing sports injuries. Natalie also helps those in demanding professions who use acupuncture to relax, stay healthy and perform at their best. Natalie's primary belief is treating the whole person – body, mind, and spirit.
John J. Brummer, Podiatrist
Dr. Brummer received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He then completed his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Brummer continued his training in residency for the next four years. His first year was spent at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, an affiliate of Weill Medical College at Cornell University, specializing in primary podiatric medicine. He then completed a three-year surgical residency specializing in foot and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Brummer continues to perform surgery as a clinical instructor at the Mount Sinai Medical Center. He also has surgical privileges at the Lenox Hill Hospital, Midtown Surgery Center, and 5th Avenue Surgery Center. Dr. Brummer is a board-certified foot surgeon by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a member in good standing with the American Podiatric Medical Association. He has also been an active member of the New York State Podiatric Medical Association, where he is the incoming President of the New York Division of the New York State Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Brummer is the former team doctor for two semi pro basketball teams, the Brooklyn Kings of the United States Basketball League, and the Harlem Strong Dogs of the American Basketball Association. He continues to treat competitive athletes specializing in sports medicine and podiatric surgery. Dr Brummer also specializes in Dance medicine, treating dancers of all varieties.
